BPS Merauke Regency Socializes the Importance of Statistics to Musamus University Students

Merauke, May 28, 2025 — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Merauke Regency held a socialization activity for a statistics corner at Musamus University (Unimus) Merauke as part of an effort to increase the role of students in developing statistics. This activity took place in the Musamus University Hall and was attended by dozens of students from various study programs.

This activity included an explanation of the role and function of BPS, types of statistical data, and an introduction to statistical products such as the Population Census, National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas), and Regional Publications in Figures (DDA). In addition, students were also invited to become statistical agents to help understand the importance of accurate and valid data in supporting statistical development in the university environment.
