The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Merauke Regency held a National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) – Seruti Officer Training on August 25-27, 2025. This activity aimed to improve the understanding and skills of field officers in collecting socio-economic data on the community using accurate methods and guidelines.
The training was opened by Cendana Murti Nuryana Sri Hapsara, SST, who in his remarks emphasized the importance of quality Susenas data as the basis for formulating national and regional development policies, as well as other social aspects. The training was attended by officers and field supervisors.
During the training, participants received material on concepts, definitions, and procedures for completing questionnaires, as well as practical field interviews to ensure uniform understanding and implementation in the field. Through this activity, it is hoped that all officers will be able to carry out data collection tasks professionally, thoroughly, and with integrity, to ensure the availability of quality statistical data for Indonesia's development.
