Abstract

The main goal of development is to make people's lives better. To achieve this, the government implementing well-planned and sustainable development programs. In order to be able to measure the extent to which people's welfare has increased, indicators are needed that can show this.In the publication "Indicators of People's Welfare for Merauke Regency 2023," we present strategic indicators of social welfare. The data we use does not only come from BPS, but is also collected from the Merauke District Education Office. Data obtained from BPS is mainly obtained through the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), National Employment Survey (Sakernas), and Population Census.
